Jon, this is amazing! This has a use-case far outside the game, I think roleplayers will be delighted! If, in a future update to this, there were different clothes coming up, or a toggle for "just the face", that would be super great for character variety!
I've been following Arclands since the kickstarter back in 2019 I think and now seeing this tiny part, it looks gorgeous and the little vibe of magic love it, I hope the game will come out soon! 😊

It looks like I didn't make myself clear.
I meant more than just avatars and individual png images. I would like to be able to include sequence frame files for combat, movement. :)
That won't happen. We will release all assets of the final game, but not as a creator tool.

The full game will not have an export function for the pngs, but we probably keep the character creator up to date when adding further options. :)

Thanks for the kind words! You can toggle just the portrait, but you can't change clothes / export just the face, which probably wont ever be options.

I also love how the titles have gender-neutral versions (as a nonbinary person myself, it is very inclusive).
